Caroni
Music, of which ALIRIO
DIAZ is a founding
member, will be publishing the scores of a very important collection
of South American music, including unpublished works in Classical,
Traditional, Popular and Reggae-Latino styles. The collection
has already more than 3000 pieces of very great musical quality,
in large part from Venezuela and Colombia, and the catalogue
is growing rapidly.

Eight
pieces which Caroni Music represents have already been recorded
on two CDs by the American guitarist, SHARON
ISBIN,
the first CD Voyage to the Amazon was nominated for a Grammy
Award in 2000, the second CD Dreams of a world won the Grammy
Award in 2001 for "best solo instrumental". These
pieces, many of which were previously unpublished, can be found
among the first Caroni Music editions.
All
the editions are revised and corrected by ALIRIO
DIAZ and a team
of professional musicians. Caroni Music will be publishing between
30 and 50 new volumes of musical scores each year as well as
the production of various CD collections including the great
recordings by ALIRIO
DIAZ which have
been re-mastered. |
